Will I be sharing a room with another Resident?
Private and semi-private accommodations are available based on personal needs. At all Provider Services facilities we take the time to consider your personality and your individual needs if assigning a roommate. Our aim is to assure that you are living comfortably.
What arrangements need to be made for me to leave the facility on special occasions?
If there are no medical reasons preventing you from leaving our nursing care, arrangements can be made simply by contacting the nursing facility.
What activities are provided for Residents?
We offer a diversity of activities for Residents of all ages and physical abilities. We put together a calendar filled with activities that include indoor and outdoor activities as well as recreational outings. Our Residents also have the opportunity to be involved in outside community activities. We offer our Residents the opportunity for spiritual growth. You will find that traditional religious services for all faiths are offered within our facilities.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
Therapeutic diets are prepared according to physician’s orders and designed to meet the needs of the Resident’s medical condition.
What if I have special medical needs that require regular attention?
In addition to having nurses on staff 24 hours a day, we recruit a variety of physicians to include pulmonary, nephrology and physical medicine specialists. We also have psychiatrists and licensed and registered therapists that work with our patients as needed. In addition we offer a number of specialty care services.
Can my loved one have their personal mail sent to them at a Provider Services facility?
Residents can have all of their mail, including magazine and newspaper subscriptions, sent to the address of the facility location. Mail is delivered on a daily basis to our Residents.
What are Visitation Hours?
Most Homes have set visitation hours typically 8am-8pm but ask the Admissions Director at the location you choose and they will be able to tell you the communities specific policy.
Can I come and go as I please?
Yes you can, Medicare and Medicaid have specific policies about leaves of Absence but for the most part you choose when you go and where. Please ask the Admissions director for the communities’ policy on Leaves of Absence.
